Our Spiritual Leader

Apostle JamesNii-Aponsah

General Overseer

Apostle James Nii-Aponsah started his ministry at a very young age, while in the secondary school.He served as an executive and the General Secretary of the Scripture Union (S.U.). After his O-level, he joined the Christian group Calvary Road Incorporated. He rose through the ranks and became the national prayer director of the group. The Apostle attended the University of Cape-Coast Ghana (UCC) and joined the UCC Pentecostal Fellowship (PENTEFEL). He became the Vice-president and subsequently, the President of the Fellowship.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;"

The Apostle after his university education, started the Liberation Bible Church in the year 1991, December 1st. Apostle James Nii-Aponsah currently serves on many boards. He is the deputy general secretary of the National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (N.A.C.C.C). He is also a committee member of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving (NDPT). He is a member of the council of Elders, LOSA and the chairman of the University of Cape Coast Pentecostal Fellowship (PENTEFEL). Apostle is married to Rev. Mrs. Evelyn Nii-Aponsah, blessed with three (3) children and four (4) grandchildren. He loves reading, praying and listening to gospel music. Since founding Liberation Bible Church in 1991, Apostle James has witnessed remarkable growth from 15 members to over 300 regular attendees, with apostolic influence across all 16 regions of Ghana and spiritual sons and daughters pastoring churches globally.
